Reinforced Flexible Graphite Sheet · China Manufacturer
Kaxite Graphite Sheet with Metal Mesh is a flexible graphite sheet reinforced with an SS304, SS316 or nickel mesh insert. The mesh insert is bonded into the graphite structure during the pressing process, which raises tensile strength and blow-out resistance for high-pressure, high-temperature flange and gasket applications.
Graphite Sheet Reinforced with metal mesh insert is made from Kaxite B201 Flexible Graphite Sheet through a specially pressing or sticking process. The insert materials can be SS304, SS316, Nickel, etc. The product is used in a wide range of conditions and gasket types.
Kaxite B204N is the unclear (nuclear) grade flexible graphite sheet used for higher-purity service. For buyers who need non-reinforced sheet, plain sheet or foil-laminated versions are also available in the Graphite Sheet category. For a broader material overview, see Compression Sheets.
Two grades cover most petrochemical, power and nuclear service requirements.
Need a foil-laminated or tanged-metal version for higher blow-out resistance? See Graphite Sheet Reinforced with Metal Foil and Graphite Sheet Reinforced with Tanged Metal.
Flange gaskets, heat exchanger gaskets, column and reactor connections exposed to hydrocarbons and high temperature.
Steam line flanges, boiler manholes, turbine connections, and nuclear-grade joints requiring low chloride and low sulfur.
Process piping, air ducts, pressure vessels and storage tanks where graphite sheet is die-cut into custom gasket shapes.
Bonnet gaskets, casing joints and valve body seals. Compatible with steam, thermal oil, and many chemical media.
SS304, SS316 or nickel mesh insert bonded into the graphite structure raises tensile strength and blow-out resistance.
Industrial grade (98-99% C) and nuclear grade (99.5% C, lower S and Cl) to match your project specification.
Permanently elastic across hot-cold cycles. No aging, no brittleness, no hot or cold flow. Less maintenance over time.
Direct replacement for asbestos gasket material. New high-temperature and chemical applications continue to be identified.
30% compressibility and 15% recovery give good flange conformity and fine compensation of surface irregularity.
Die-cut flange gaskets, heat exchanger gaskets, and custom shapes produced from your DXF, DWG or PDF drawing.
Send thickness, mesh insert material (SS304 / SS316 / Ni), carbon grade, sheet size or die-cut drawing, quantity and destination port.
Kaxite replies with FOB Ningbo quotation, lead time and packing options. Samples available for new buyers and new dimensions.
Flexible graphite is expanded, pressed with the mesh insert, then calendered to the requested thickness and density.
Sheet or die-cut gaskets are produced on CNC or die-cut presses from your drawing. Dimensions are checked against your approval drawing.
Density, thickness, tensile strength, ash content and dimension are inspected. Sheets are packed flat with edge protection for export.
Sea, air or express shipment supported with packing list, invoice, certificate of origin and material test report if required.
Carbon content, density, tensile strength, compressibility, recovery, ignition loss, sulphur and chlorine values recorded per batch.
Sheet thickness and length/width verified. Die-cut gasket dimensions checked against buyer approval drawing.
Industrial and nuclear grades are kept separate during production and packing to avoid cross-contamination.
Sheets packed flat with edge protection between layers. Die-cut gaskets packed in cartons with the buyer’s label if requested.
Full range of plain, reinforced and laminated flexible graphite sheets.
Higher mechanical grip for blow-out resistance in severe flange service.
Foil-laminated sheet for enhanced handling and lower permeability.
Spiral wound, ring joint, expanded graphite and other industrial gaskets.
Graphite Sheet with Metal Mesh is a flexible graphite sheet reinforced with a metal mesh insert such as SS304, SS316 or nickel. The mesh insert is bonded into the graphite structure during pressing or lamination, which increases tensile strength and blow-out resistance for high-pressure flange and gasket applications.
SS304, SS316, nickel, tanged metal and metal foil inserts are available. SS304 and SS316 are the most common for petrochemical and power applications. Nickel insert is used for higher temperature or specific corrosion requirements.
Nuclear grade uses higher carbon content (99.5% vs 98-99%), tighter density tolerance (±0.05 vs ±0.06 g/cm³), higher tensile strength (5-25 MPa vs 3-20 MPa), lower sulfur and chlorine content, and lower ignition loss (0.5% vs 2.0%). Nuclear grade is specified for power plant and nuclear service.
The recommended service temperature range is -240°C to +550°C in oxidizing environment. In non-oxidizing or reducing environments, graphite sheet can be used at higher temperatures.
Standard sheet thickness is 0.5 mm, 1.0 mm, 1.5 mm, 2.0 mm, 3.0 mm and above. Standard sheet size is 1000 x 1000 mm, 1500 x 1500 mm and other custom sizes. Custom thickness and die-cut gaskets are available.
MOQ and lead time depend on sheet thickness, mesh insert material, grade and quantity. Typical lead time is 7-15 days for standard sizes and 15-25 days for custom die-cut gaskets. Send your specification for a firm quotation.
Yes. Kaxite can die-cut flange gaskets, heat exchanger gaskets, and custom-shaped gaskets from Graphite Sheet with Metal Mesh according to your drawing. Send a DXF, DWG, PDF or sample for quotation.
