Custom Gasket Engineering from Drawing, Sample, or Application Brief DWG · DXF · PDF · STEP · Physical Sample

"Design, Engineer & Manufacture" is not a slogan on this site — it is a workflow. Send a drawing, a sample, or just an application brief, and the engineering team returns a manufacturable specification, a material recommendation, and a quote within 24 hours.

What You Can Send

Input type What we do with it Typical output
CAD drawing DWG, DXF, PDF, STEP — geometry review, tolerance check, material recommendation Manufacturable spec + quote
Physical sample Reverse engineering — measure geometry, identify material, confirm hardness and density Drawing + material report + quote
Application brief Media, pressure, temperature, flange standard, mating surface given without a drawing Recommended gasket type + drawing for approval
Existing part number Cross-reference to Kaxite equivalent or OEM specification Interchangeability note + quote

Engineering Review in Four Steps

STEP 01

Geometry

Dimensions, tolerances, and fit against the mating flange or surface.

STEP 02

Material

Selection against media, pressure, temperature, and standard — NBR, EPDM, PTFE, graphite, metal, or composite.

STEP 03

Manufacturing route

Waterjet, CNC, die cutting, spiral winding, molding, or welding — matched to the gasket type and quantity.

STEP 04

Inspection

Dimensional, pressure, leakage, and material checks defined before production starts.

DFM Feedback — When a Drawing Cannot Be Made As Specified

If a drawing specifies a tolerance, material, or geometry that cannot be produced reliably, the engineering team issues design-for-manufacturability (DFM) feedback before quoting — not after the order is placed. Common cases include wall thickness below the minimum for the chosen material, a gasket OD that exceeds the available press or winding capacity, or a material that cannot meet the stated temperature and pressure simultaneously. The feedback names the constraint and proposes the nearest manufacturable alternative.

Prototype and Production Timing

Prototypes ship in 7–10 days from approved drawing. Production orders ship in 15–30 days depending on quantity and complexity. Prototype cost is quoted separately and can be credited against the bulk order when the same specification moves to production.
