Our double jacket gaskets are formed by enclosing a soft filler (expanded graphite, PTFE, ceramic, or mica) with a metal jacket that may fully or partially surround the core. The jacket provides mechanical strength and blow-out resistance, while the filler ensures excellent conformability to flange irregularities.
